Pick up in the morning from your hotel, we go to discover the exciting Mutrah Souq and surroundings, view His Majesty Sultan’s palace from the outside and two of the forts built by the Portuguese. We can also visit one or two museums to learn more about Omani culture, heritage, and history.

Also we can visit two iconic buildings in Muscat: Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Opera House. To visit the Grand Mosque. it is obligatory to cover up for the visit (men: trousers and shirt, women covered arms, legs, and head scarf)

Pick up in the morning from your hotel,  we drive to the north to visit Nizwa, the wonderful old capital of Oman.
We will visit the Fort and explore a local market (Nizwa souk). Then head to Jabal al Akhdar where we drive through the mountain
pass and take in the amazing views across the rugged terrain and small villages and walk through the beautiful scenery.

On the way back is possible to stop in Birkat al Mouz to see the terraces and the rose flower plants.

Pick up from your hotel in the morning and drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, an amazing wadi where we can visit the town and walk for 20-30 minutes to view the beautiful canyon with its huge cliffs and even take a swim, in the clear pools of water.

After this we will head to the Wahiba Sands where we can drive through desert, admiring the beautiful sand dunes, taking photos, looking out for wild camels and visiting a Bedouin house.
For health and safety reasons, this day trip does not include “dune bashing”, thank you for your understanding.

Another option for Wadi Bani Khalid is spending around 3 hours at a more adventurous area of the wadi, where we can go through the canyon hiking, swimming, sliding, and climbing, then come back the same route. It requires above average fitness level.

Price for 2 pax starting from 300 OMR

Pick up in the morning from your hotel and drive to Wadi Shab, about 1,5/2 hours. From there we will cross a small river in a boat, to start a 45 minute walk to the pools. The path has some climbs but nothing too difficult (we advise you to wear water shoes or sport shoes). Once we reach Wadi Shab, we will go through its 3 pools. This will be a combination of swimming and walking in various depths of water (i.e. not constant swimming). Upon reaching the 3rd pool there is a cave and a waterfall that you can climb up with the aid of a rope and jump off a cliff. This activity will take about 30 minutes. There will be places to rest along the way, if needed. We will then walk back to the car and travel to the Bimmah Sinkhole, where you will have another opportunity to swim.

Please ensure you to bring water shoes or trainers, sun hat and sunscreen, a waterproof camera if you have one, and wear swimming gear, t-shirts, and shorts.

Price for 2 pax starting from 110 OMR

Pick up in the morning from your hotel and drive to Wadi Tiwi, about 2 hours and 20 minutes. This option offers an enjoyable 20 min ride along the beautiful farms and a total of 5 villages in the middle of an oasis. Along the way, we’ll be able to see panoramic views of the entire area, with the villages in the middle. When we reach the car park, we’ll start a 10 min hike towards the waterfall and pools, then we’ll go down the stairs for 15 min. This area is accessible to anyone of various fitness levels, you will be able to reach it. Then, we can use ropes to climb down the other pools and jump into the refreshing clear waters with close support and guidance from our experienced guides, respecting all advised safety measures. On the way back, we’ll enjoy once again our panoramic view of the five villages, and travel to the Bimmah Sinkhole, where you will have another opportunity to swim in this marvellous natural gem.
